*Proposal submissions are welcomed from both members and non-members of the Japanese Society for the Studies on Teacher Education.  However, those whose proposals are accepted will be required to complete the registration and pay the registration fee by the designated deadline once the review committee has accepted their proposal.

Call for Presentations

The International Special Sessions will be 30 minutes (20 minutes for oral presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A), and each joint research presentation (when there are two or more oral presenters) will be 50 minutes (35 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A).
After each presentation, there will be 30 minutes to 1 hour for plenary discussion.

Requirements for Presentations

Non-members, including co-researchers, can apply for participation.

On that basis

(1) Compliance with the Society’s Research Ethics Code
(2) You must have completed the pre-registration for the conference.

* If you do not check the box “I will comply with the Society’s Research Ethics Code” when applying to present, you will not be able to apply for presentation.

Participation Types:
・Presenter (those who have submitted an accepted proposal)
・Audience (non-presenting participants)

Important Note:
・No additional fee is required to participate in the International Special Sessions beyond the general conference registration.
・If you are a presenter, please ensure that you have registered to participate in the entire conference and have paid the registration fee by the designated deadlines.
・All presenters must ensure that their research complies with relevant ethical guidelines and institutional regulations. If your research involves human subjects (e.g., interviews, surveys, classroom observations), please confirm that appropriate ethical review procedures have been respected.

How to Submit a Presentation Proposal: 

Proposals must be submitted via this official website.
For each presentation, only one representative (main presenter) should complete the submission.

Submission Procedure:
1.Click on the “Application Link” button at the top of this page.
2.Fill in the required information on the application form for the International Special Sessions.
3.After completing the form, click the “Submit” button.
Your submission will be completed, and you will receive an automatic confirmation email.

Please make sure the confirmation email arrives. If you do not receive it within a few hours, please check your spam folder or contact the organising committee.

International Special Sessions (Designated English-Language Sessions)

Purpose
International Special Sessions are organised to promote international
scholarly exchange in the field of studies on teachers and teacher
education (including teacher training, teacher preparation, as well as
professional development and learning). These sessions aim to create
inclusive spaces where researchers from diverse linguistic and cultural
backgrounds can engage in meaningful dialogue, share their work, and build
collaborative networks across different systems.
